Well, we may be biting off more than we can chew this weekend. Patti, the coordinater for NIAD in our area is swamped with 8 igs right now. She and I will meet this weekend and we will take one that is about 2 feet and has severe MBD. The people that dumped him at a pet store apparantly never used a UV light the whole time they had him. From what Patti says, he walks on his elbows and his head is like a golf ball, lips curled back, lower jaw extended. (in fact they nicknamed him Leno because of Jay's chin) He's going to need lots of TLC and attention. Probably won't even try to place him until next year. The poor little guy can't climb at all. She says he's really sweet. Send any info you can on MBD, the best sites, etc. Please. I'm a little nervous since I'm not as experienced as most of you in dealing with this. I'll post more when we pick him up. Wish me luck! J
