John: The crystalized urates are gone...

Thank you for your reply about how you found crystalized urates in your Ig's waste too. It only happened just that one time, and now Habib seems to be back to his normal self but just to make sure, I've called the vet and so we should know more soon.

When I first posted about this problem, "Harry's Dad" recommended hydrating Habib even better than before, and keeping him extra warm so I've also recently increased the humidity level in the house (I bought a super-dooper humidifier with a built-in monitor which I can set to a certain level and it won't stop until it reaches that level of humidity.) and I also changed his UVB/UVA bulbs, bought a ceramic heater, and one extra jumbo heating pad for the winter.

Please DO tell me what you find out after your vet visit-I will be anxious to know what he/she says about why the urates were crystalized. I wonder if it's a nutrition thing, a heat thing, or a humidity thing? Maybe it's none of them, but I guess we'll know soon!

Thanks again to everyone who has been such a big help to me and to Habib. I really couldn't keep him as healthy and happy without your help!
