Pooping in the food bowl? come on now

i just went to take out pumbas food bowl for the night and i saw he pooped in it, is he trying to tellme something, maybe he doesnt like what i am feeding him, before he was going on his pullout tray, he has never done this before. actually, its not that big of a deal, i guess that makes cleaning up a little easier, does anyone elses ig do this?
