Although they are your best bet in the long run, you do have to make sure they are put together well (the leaves pop off of some of them). And yes, SOME IGS WILL EAT THEM. I couldn't put these in my last ig's cage, but I can put them in Sleestack the ig's cage and Flapjack the beardie's cage because they don't tend to do this.
