I saw this in Bug's urates this morning. A large poop, which looked normal, except for a small amount of gritty feces which passed after the rest of the poop. The rest of the urates were white and smooth, very normal. Gritty component was about the volume of half a thimble, and white. No gray color in mine... I have a vet appointment next Monday, the 20th for checkup and blood work. I will take a sample of this with me, and let you know what is found. However, I would NOT wait for my results before visiting your vet. Let us know what you find, I'll do the same......
