Your iguana should be fine, but just in case you didn't know iguanas don't hibernate in the wild. Where they come from it's summer all year long (with rain and stuff inbetween) and making your iguana hibernate isn't the best ideas (since about a thousand years of instinct went into making these guys and they won't change just because you want them to). Where you live though, it doesn't sound like it gets to cold though(I don't live in florida so I don't know) Try to reason with your dad though, maybe suggest that he allows you to keep its cage in the garage. at least that way you could put heat lamps on him when it's very cold and rainy. You didn't say though why your dad doesn't let you bring him inside during this winter. I'd like to know (just curious).
