I spoke to the vet & he said unless the toe is in the way so he cant climb or unless the toe turns black - he wouldnt amputate it. He said that if it becomes a problem I should bring him in.
Today the toe still looks greenish...
I held him still & untwisted the toe...I tried this when I first found the injury but it wouldnt move. Today however, the toe stayed in the correct position. I got the "knuckle" to line back up where it belongs too. So far the toe is still in the right spot. I dont think it will be of use, but if it at least heals down it will be a positive thing.
I will keep everyone up to date on what happens. Later on today I will resume his normal bathing session as I have held off since the toe broke...
