Yes it is possible the blood will be cut off from that toe.I would watch it closely for signs of dry gangrene.If his health is good,then he might not need the toe amputated.If it turns black,,it should be amputated.
Our male ig Go has floppy wrists,,from previous owners and while he can grip with them,,he has to kinda fling them up on something and then grab ahold.He gets around just fine.
Keep a close eye on him and keep us posted please.
