John,
I just saw the beautiful pictures you posted (with Dishy's help) on 10/30 of your trip to the Iguana Farm you visited while in Honduras. I have been to that same Iguana farm; last spring, we went on a Carribean cruise and they stopped off at Roatan for a day. The farm was incredible! We got to feed the huge orange Iguanas, and to see them get excited when the food came out. I loved seeing the tiny babies in the wire cages, and was happy to read in your post that that particular Iguana farm doesn't raise the Iguanas for the meat. At the time we visited, (May 2000) I didn't know whether or not those beautiful creatures were going to end up being dinner for the locals or not! (I got teary-eyed as we left the farm out of concern for them.)
Just wanted to say thanks for providing the beautiful pictures, the interesting information about the farm, and for sharing your experiences in Honduras with us.
