Rex actually doesn't live in a cage. He has adopted our full bathroom as his own. Since he always seemed to hang out in there, I adapted it to suit his needs. The area where the tub is, is all set up for him. I have ramps, a couple of hammocks, shelves, his basking light and his uvb tube there. Down inside the tub itself (we never used that tub to bathe anyway since we have a second bathroom up stairs) I cover 3/4 of it with a towel (so he doesn't slide around) and the other 1/4 with paper towel, since that is where he always poops. I have a large hibiscus bush in a pot next to the tub. Also in the tub (it's one of those huge, deep early 1900's tubs) I have a couple branches for him to climb on, and a couple fake plants. I also put his food and water down in the tub. Clean up is a snap, I just remove his stuff, clean with bleach and water, rinse well and dry. Then all his stuff goes back in. I have a humidifier in the corner of the room to keep moisture up, and since that room is right above the furnace, it is always the warmest in the house...usually around 80 degrees or so which is why I think he picked that room in the first place. :) I don't have any pics yet, never really thought to take any, but when I am done re-doing the bathroom (I'm going with a jungle theme!) I will take some. He seems to enjoy the traffic going in and out of there, and likes to watch us while we do our various bathroom things (hair drying, shaving, brushing teeth, etc). It is comical when we have guests....I usually warn them that he is in there, so if they see him they don't freak.
Hope this helps!
