I just about cried when I read Clyde's story. I just don't know what is in people's mind. How can they cause such misery for animals and then demand money for it.

I used to work at the animal shelter here and I just got to really hate people. I wished that you could greet people in a small room, listen to there story, take there animal and step out of the room. There would be a panel of people in the next room that had heard the person(s) story and we would vote on a thumbs up or down. If it was a thumbs down, we would gas the small greeting room and throw the people in the dumpster like we had to do there animals. If it really worked that way, people might think ahead of time if they could care for the animal or not. You wouldn't get animals on a wim.

Joan (I don't know why they won't let me work down at the animal shelter any more, hahaha - evil laugh)
