people with more experience in plants would answer you. I recently lost all my hard found links. I did have one to a Turtle/Tortoise Trust that either had a link to or listed the edible plants and listed them by location of where you lived in the US.
I have only used silk plants in the iguana's cage. But 2 summers ago we built a turtle pen and planted all sorts edible plants. Wild strawberries, a wild geraium (sp), sage, and others that I would have to look up again. This last summer I put collard green and mustard green seeds in the turtle pen as well. They never got big enough to harvest. The iguana has always been such a disaster looking for a place to happen that we have never considered giving him anything else that he could destroy.
