not putting in live plants,,but hibiscus bushes will work for a short time or perslain too.
Usually they climb on them and knock them over and make more of a mess than you'd care to clean everyday.They also sometimes poop in the soil.
You do have to be very very careful with the plants not having had chemical fertilizers,or pesticides used on them.I could kill your ig.We use silks in our cages.
