I agree with roman. A a worker in a pet shop i hear all the time that the shop down the street tells people they (iguanas) will live in 10gallon aquariums all their life...this is Preposterous...i keep that issue as well as other issues of reptiles magazine on hand, and when a child comes in and tells his or her mom or dad that they want a iguana, and the parents say...oh it is cute lets buy it..i tell them that this is what may happen if they dont take care of their iguana right...i give them books, and reptiles magazine and let them read the article right there. they usually decide on a gecko or anole as a starter...much better than a lizard that may get 7 feet long..i mean come on...people don't always think, and I would not be able to sleep if i sold these to people without knowing how big or aggressive they may become. Just think...would you go in and buy a cute little 24" burmese python for your eight year old child?
