Hi all.

As I said before, we drove up to Raleigh to meet Patti,
co-ordinator of NIAD in our area. They are so nice and had several Iguanas. We ended up with another Ig that was dumped on a guy that only deals with snakes and Patti thought it a good idea to take him instead of the "dumpster" Iguana. I'm looking at him as I type. He's sitting on top of his cage basking right now. He's pretty docile at the moment but likes to tail-whip occasionally. I hope, after he settles in he's not too aggressive. Now I will start looking for a good home. This time Patti gave me some tips and an adoption sheet so that will be good. Hopefully this time it will have happy results! Baby is obviously extreemely jealous or something! The first few moments I was holding Whipsy (short for Whippersnapper, daughter's idea)Baby leaped from my husbands shoulder onto my head. Then when we let them roam a little together, he kept head butting him and crawled on top of him and bit his spikes. Tonight I had Whipsy on my shoulder and Baby came running up and nipped him on his side. No more of that! The funny thing is, Baby is smaller (20" compared to 24" or so) so it's pretty comical to see this big guy being picked on by my little guy. Haven't measured him yet, but I'd guess a good 2 feet at least. More later.....J
