kids (+ my rabbit used to) LOVE to eat flakes of lead paint cuz they taste sweet ... but that doesn't mean it's good for them, in fact, it's outright poisonous!

kids and IGs DON'T know any better so WE have to ... just because someone has fed their ig cat food for 2 yrs, does NOT mean it's ok and it does NOT mean that the ig is anywhere near healthy ... chances are, that ig is going to die long before the 20 yrs it SHOULD live because it's kidneys will just stop ... iguana's bodies cannot process animal protein and even too much plant protein is bad for them ...

or look at it this way ... YOU could live for a long time eating nothing but junk food, but you wouldn't be very healthy ...
