Calling SUE1 or SUE2

For now I certainly agree with your instinct to do nothing that might get water down in it. Can you call your vet and ask for advice? I don't know if a dab of Neosporin for a few days will take care of things or what. It would be best to let your vet make the call on what/if/how to medicate this. A basic thing is to make sure that temps stay up right (even push the high end) because this does help stem off infection....why I'm not entirely sure.

Hope you can get something going by phone with your vet and avoid a paying visit *grin*
