Hello. I have had ideas like the one you mentioned. Unfortunatly I dont have the kind of money it takes to open something like that. I always figured if I won the lottery, I would do something like that! hee!hee! oh well. If I did open a store like that, I realize the profit wouldnt be that great. But, as long as you are helping animals, thats all that counts. But, you gotta eat, and have shelter for yourself too. There is a great pet store here in Albuquerque that I go to. I give them all my business. I realize they take great care of their animals. The dont house lots of reps in one tank, so, they only have a few on hand at a time. I like that. They have a variety, but, not bulk on one type. Plus, they are full of good info. I recently purchased a baby Blue Tongue Skink there, and he asked me if I had some time to discuss the skinks care. He then told me if I have any questions, to call him! Thats great service =) I no longer go to the stores in my area that mistreat their animals. But, not all of them are bad. Just my thoughts on the subject. Sorry so long!
