Iggy question

How big is a hatchling? The reason I am asking is b/c a friend of mine got her ig in Jan 99 and he doesnt look half as big as some of the other igs posted on here of the same age? I was wondering why this is? She feeds him a proper diet and all, so I don't understand what the deal is! He is about 26-27 stl, about 8-9 svl I dont know how much he weighs, maybe 4 lbs as a guess. He looks healthy and you can't see his ribs or anything to indicate malnurishment!
My ig is almost as big as hers at least by svl and mine is almost a year!
Anyone have any comments?
