: the dragonbaby is hangin' in there, he's not feeling very good this last week tho ... as much as i'm dreading sending him into surgery thursday, i'm glad it'll be over soon ...

: i've converted the upstairs hallway cupboard into what will be his 'recovery room' when he gets home from surgery ... it's one of his favorite places to snuggle up in and nap when he's out roaming so i think it'll go over ok ... it's small enough that it'll keep him from moving around and hurting himself, but big enough that it's not really cramped ... and it's filled with absorbent, disposable pillows to help keep his weight off his poor belly ...

: his surgery is 1st thing thursday morning ... we have to leave here @ 5:30am to get him there at 7:30 ... i talked with his doc about bringing him *home* that night ... i *think* the doc will be ok with that and i truly believe that i can care for him better at home ... Dr. M is a great vet and surgeon, but the clinic's facilities for igs staying overnite SUCK ... he's also pretty impressed with me for pulling iZ thru his crisis *last* year ... (i'm just an over-protective humommy, that's all!) ... anyway ... *my* mind is made up that iZ *WILL* be coming home when the clinic closes that nite ... it'll just be easier if i don't have to fight about it ...

: have taken time off work ... so i've got thurs thru monday off ... after the 1st 2-3 days, iZ won't need quite so much attention ...
