Somewhere I've got saved off a "blip" from MKaplan about abscessess. It may address this. I'll put it up here as soon as I find it. Barbara may have hit on something, too, as I've got a vague memory of that happening with someone's ig before, too.

The other thing clattering around in my brain is that you may have to have a culture (?) done to see what bacteria you are fighting...Baytril may not be getting the job done. A phone call to your vet couldn't hurt *grin*
