An odd Ig

I have two igs as of now. Cisqo&cora. Cisqos the laid back tame one.Coras the freaked out one. Now cisqo loves me normally but everyonce in a while when hes really close to a heat source he freaks out when I get near him. but every where else I can pick him up and he hops on me or something. so whats the deal? another question how long too wait before free roaming?
