The peeps on the Monitor Forum can be mean, especially to newbies. I would recommend that you at least "watch" (lurk) the forum to get a feel for it. There are also plenty of websites out there with good info.

: As a sidenote, I also recommend that you not jump into getting one, or any other herp, too soon. Sounds like you got (or are getting) the bug and the temptation is very strong, but its not always what's best for the herps. If you get too many too fast you become overwhelmed and possibly burned out, and a little at a time you'll start letting things go. As you're getting the needed supplies, etc., ya might start "waiting 'til next week" for something they really need, that kinda thing. I personally lost a turtle and a plated lizard in within a short time of each other, about a year and a half ago, and I still feel the sorrow of having "killed" them. Please consider everything before jumping into anything. Especially w/your 2 new igs, which alone will require a lot of time and attention :-)
