This is about 3 weeks after I got him. This was February 2000!
He's almost tripled his length. Cute baby:)

: : All this talk on Seminal plugs had me curious. I had noticed the base of Baby's tail getting thicker and he has a bulge now so I already assumed he's a boy, but today after giving him his bath I decided I better check it out to make sure he didn't have anything stuck in there. Lo and behold there was a little stringy looking thing protruding just a tiny bit so I tugged a little, worried that I was going to hurt him. It came out about one centimeter and then I freaked and got my hubby who gently tugged it the rest of the way out. It is 3/4 " long and I thought, what if it's worms? I put it in a plastic baggie to see what happens when you squeeze the white part and it was just like wax, flattens easily etc. So....that wasn't so bad I guess. I just didn't expect him to have one at his size. He's only 19 inches! But he is 16 months old now, so I guess his time has come. Poor thing! LOL

: : I'm just so relieved to know he's a boy. I think he's pretty relieved at this point and I wouldn't be surprised if he's had that darn thing for quite some time. I noticed last night that he was scratching around a lot so maybe he was pretty uncomfortable?
