: Well the doc just called and the prognosis is excellent! He also said that she is he...go figure :-)

: He lanced the abscesses, one on the lower jaw, which he said wasn't too bad, the one under the eye, which started eating at the bones, and the one on the nose, the worst one, which was already eating on the bones. He will need them cleaned out daily and will take antibiotics daily, and we will try to get him to drink and start eating again to get him on the road to recovery. The doc admitted that he looks terrible and his first thought upon seeing him was the worst. But he says that the organs feel good and he doesn't fear there's any damage there. We can do blood work, etc., at the follow-up visit in about 2 weeks. I will be picking him up tonight on my way home from work.

: Now, the poor baby still needs a name, because I'd finally decided on Angel, and tho that fits this particular sweetie, I think something less feminine would be more fitting as he is on his way to becoming a big, strong he-ig! :-)

: Thanks for all the support...whew!
