and besides being toxic, it is a very bad idea to have anything small (like wood chips) around an iguana because they *will* taste *everything* and tend to eat things that they shouldn't ... (kinda like toddlers) ... and then you have the fun of having an iguana with an obstruction who needs some emergency, *major* surgery ... tell nephew to get rid of the wood chips!!! get some cheap paper towels instead ... much safer for numerous reasons ...
