Ok, please sheck out the page i put up, it's got photos. I got this Ig from my cousin back in Jan. 1999 and she was small and some what healthy, but a little neglected and I felt bad. I put her in a huge home cage and gave her everything she needed. I also feed her everything from dry/moist food to fresh fruits and veggies. She has calcium liquid supplements in her water as well as a little powder in her food on occasion. She sheds all the time so I am under the impression that she is a healthy and happy Ig. Well a couple of weeks ago, she started acting funny. She was restless at all hours of the day and would continue to shred up her substrate (newspaper) which she never does. Also, she would hardly eat, what I would give her in the course of two days would barely be gone after a whole week. She was always big so I didn't notice if she was much fatter. Finally she had 14 eggs in the course of about 6 - 8 hours on 10/14/00 and then 4 more later that evening and then she had 4 more today 10/15/00 for a total of 22 eggs! Now I never knew anything about breeding, none of my pets have ever had babies or eggs for that matter AND I was always assumed that there had to be "two to tango" so to speak, how little did I know! Sorry I went on like that, but anyway.. What do I do now, do I need to do anything different from heating to diet? I don't have a regular Vet for my Ig up here in RI since I moved here and never really had any problems. My dog's vet doesn't do reptiles.. I called one guy, but being the weekend, nobody returned my call. PLEASE ADVISE!
And thanks for hearing me out... Oh yeah, check the page i put up and you can see pics, just a few though, but the eggs are kinda prehistoric looking... http://i10.yimg.com/10/5b7a21e5/h/41aa0a7e/igg+page.htm
