When I was living in my apartment I used the storage area to house one of my igs I just put three plywood shelves in so she could climb from one to the next to the top were I had the lights hanging. It worked well but she was able to get out by opening the closet door and if she wasn't feed in time she would wake me up by bitting my toes (never hard enough to breck the skin though). Over the years I have kept my igs in a walk-in closet as well as a regular one.
