I haven't been bitten in 3 years! Not since my youngest igs were about the age yours was. My plan is to act as though nothing at all happened, go ahead & pick them up (yep, FORCE your attentions on 'em!), and pretty soon they start thinking, "Ohmigosh, she's HUUUUUGGGGEEEE, she's an iron woman, nothing hurts her, why even bother". At least, that's my theory!
