Check out Carmen Iguana's page. It's much better than my set up! Mine free roams; I don't have any knickknacks he could knock over & he pretty much leaves my paperbacks alone on the bookshelf. I've got newspaper in a corner of the room & he potties there so I just throw it away daily. You can set him up a couple of basking spots on your chest of drawers & dresser, like I did, with a carpet covered long basking board connecting them, but what would be best is if you could somehow use your vertical space with those wire closet shelves from Home Depot. Most of the time my igs (I had 2 in my bedroom) stayed up high; only came down to poop or walk around. They do need plenty of climbing space, though.
And I've never been bitten on the nose in my bedroom yet! LOL; I was, however, bitten on the nose once in ANOTHER lizard's den when I tried to take my female (his girlfriend) home! You might occasionally get cuddled with, though.
