I have a 14" svl male, who just bit me about two weeks ago. He was in breeding season, and it was my fault, but it sent me to the emergency room. If you keep iguanas, you will probably get bitten sooner or later. Comes with the territory, I guess.

: I was cleaning out my igs cage yesterday and went to pick him up and he took a bite out of my finger!! OUCH! He isn't very big, 17 stl. He has biten me once before while I was holding him, this time i hadn't even gotten a hold of him and he pounced on me!! Must be watching the cats too much! lol I know this isn't funny, but it is to me, he's just like having a temperamental child! My question is, do they get more aggressive in certain seasons than in others? He's eating less too, but I know that happens when the weather gets colder. He's always a booger head, but he was more of one yesterday!! I just got a new bigger cage for him, I haven't put him in it yet, but I am never going to catch him now!! :) I'm going to post pictures as soon as I get them!
