OH YEAH it hurts!! Our big guy tried to mate with my feet and left some impressive scars!Even our vet took pics of my foot to show furture ig owners what an ig bite can do.
Just be patient and move slow and talk softly to him.Put on of your old but clean t-shirts that you rub on you, in his cage,,under his hide box.That will help him get use to your scent.They are very very scent oriented! Just remember slow,soft and patience.Good luck
