Taming takes time, work with him slowly and you will learn when its ok to pick him up.
Whatever you do, please DO NOT feed any insects, these are terrible, at any age. Feed plenty of
greens, collard, turnip,mustard,dandelion, escarole,endive, some veggies, winter squashes,green beans, variety is best, but check out Jen S. site, the link is below!
Feed him everyday, as much greens that he will eat, tear them up the size of his head and chop the veggies up small.
Read,read,and read the site below and remember, NO INSECTS! Give plenty of sunlight(or UVB BULB-reptisun5.0 or similar) and heat-- 94-98 basking and overall heat of 75-85! Good luck and stay in touch.
