: The latest word is that Jacki is ok. Maybe a little stressed by the fact that
: 1: change in season
: 2: change in when her cage is getting light - her lights are on 12 hours per day - same time everyday. But when the seasons change it gets dark sooner and light later. So instead of getting 14-15 hours our light, she is getting 12
: 3. The new vet ( who used to own igs himself ) could not find anything wrong with the blood or the fecals. Also he said that Jacki looked ok for her age.
: 4. Only negative thing was a slight loss of weight, but he said that comes from the cut-back in her eating
: 5. There is no serious dehydration
: So in effect, there is nothing wrong. Everything checks out ok. For whatever reason, Jacki got freaked and did weird stuff.
: Jacki spent the day in my car, where she was able to sleep and keep warm - high 80's in the car. I gave her water too.
: I will keep an eye on her. The other igs, monitor and tegu have also cut down on food, only eating maybe half of what they normally eat.
: That is it for now. I will probably take Sydney in for a check-up next week.
: Thanks for everyone's concern and info.
