Pretty much all iguanas have worms until they're treated for them. I would ask questions about husbandry, and even ask some questions you already know the answer to..I find that's a good way to test the vet's knowledge. :) One vet I tried couldn't tell me how long the lifespan of igs was...

: I am taking my iggy to the vet for the first time since I got him a few months ago and wanted to know any tips that any of you experienced keepers can give me? He is a little over a year old. I got the vets name from Melissa Kaplans site and know he is a recommended reptile vet. Should I take anything along, like a fecal sample to test for worms? What kind of questions should I ask the doc? I assume an experienced reptile vet should know his stuff, but I just want to be prepared! thanks
