Last week my iguana escaped and proceeded to climb up a 35 foot tree with a diameter of about 9" and the only way I was able to get him down was by cutting down the tree with him in it as a last resort. Two days later his heat light fell off of his cage and burned a hole in the floor and started what could have been a huge fire. Yesterday I had to get rid of my dresser (and my TV for awhile) just so I had room to put his "juvenile" cage. (my clothes are currently being kept on the floor)Also I have scars all over my arms from handling him and I've been whipped more times than I can count. If I come within 1 foot of him he flares up his dewlap and puffs up his body then goes nuts running frantically all over his cage. So, was my iguana worth it?
Of course!
Good luck to all you ig owners
