: I am going to try and not be real critical, but the fact is, there is not such thing as integrating igs. Igs are social ( ie: male and female ) only in the wild where these is abundant space between and amongst the trees.
*** Thx, but no thanks for not "being real critical" sorry if I sound upset, but I'm PMSing and your response was useless to me.
I know there is no such thing as "intergrating igs" I used it for the lack of better words. I have had igs for the last 10 years, so I'm not a complete idiot. I was hoping someone had gotten past the fact that they say we can't put them together, but am I the only person that knows of other igs together?
: In an enclosed space ( even in a house ) you are going to get serious problems. Trying to force socialization will not work - you just aren't going to change millions of years of evolution and instinct just because "you" feel a certain way right now.
*** I do not plan changing evolution because of how "I feel"
: We have three igs. Each has a separate enclosure which does not allow the igs to view each other unless it is complete by accident. This seems to work ok. Others have same or similiar situations.
*** very good for you, we ALSO have more than one enclosure, it is the obvious solution.
: Your solution is to build another enclosure - one for each ig, or, adopt one of your igs out and just keep one. Otherwise, you will continue to have problems both behavior wise and injury or death of at least one of the igs.
*** Thx but no thx again, what kind of response is that... give one away.... I have had them for years, both from very bad abuse, and you think now because I ask a question about putting igs together, I should now give one away...NM
: Humans can rationalize living together because we are predispositioned to be in social groups, igs aren't except for mating, and, as I said before, only if there is plenty of open space available.
*** Thx for the human psyc 101
I'm going to go calm down and check back later. btw there is no blood or hurting, Jade is just chasing her sometimes, I thinks she remembers when she got chased. And as far as the broken leg, sorry if I wasn't clear. She had just gone through hell for weeks until she laids her eggs and was weak like ALL igs after they lay, so her broken arm was probly from jumping or falling when she was still weak. Anyway if anyone else wants to get back to me great, if not don't worry I'm not an idiot and everything will be fine. Sorry for venting :o)
