Well, as of today, Baby is in his new enclosure. We are pretty excited about the way it turned out. We are still working with the temps and the lighting, that may take a little adjusting but he has been enjoying the basking area all morning. I know I've read somewhere that they will be stressed for the first little while in their new environment. Does anyone have a guestimate at how long? Should we leave Baby alone for a few days other than the normal bath and feeding? Or should we just treat it as business as usual? I did transfer a couple of the rocks and a piece of wood from the old cage and I think that's helped. They are small enough to fit on the shelf and he's sitting there peeking out at us from behind them. He has eaten in his new home, so I guess that's a good sign. He looks so dwarfed in this new cage!!! If anyone has any advice on this subject, please don't hesitate to share. Thanks! J PS ( I think IG27 and his family are coming over in the next few weeks and we are going to try and get some pictures. Hopefully we can post them. Take care all. )
