when Wolfgang was a little smaller, I used a 4 inch diamater PVC pipe, you know the one shaped like a T. I stood it in the cage and she would either sit on top of it or in it. That worked well for a year or so but now she's too heavy and knocks it over, She can still fit in it though. It's easy to clean and disinfect. I would recommend getting those shower sticker things that you put on your bath tub floor so you don't slip. put on the top and sides for traction or else they claw at it, but can't get on.
