below is a copy of an e-mail i sent to the webmaster:
I am sorry to drag you into The Iguana Forum's current pettiness, but i am truly at a loss and since *you* are the webmaster/moderator ... i'd appreciate feedback on this situation and will follow your decision/input ... i really love this forum and i do not want to cause anything bad to happen to it! i really need an "outsider" to tell me if i have gone to far with my posted advice??? should this forum be for light-hearted sharing only??? i really don't know which why to turn on this issue and would appreciate your help!
thank you!!!!!
Bon. aka iZ's mom
i then directed his attention to various posts i have made recently ...
Webmaster Joseph Forks sent me this reply (and his permission to post it here)
The IHS has an award named after Josef Laszlo.
Josef Laszlo was the Curator of Reptiles at the San Antonio Zoo.
Among Josef's admirable qualities was the willing to take the time, and interest in both the young "neophyte" collectors and keepers and their animals. That patience and willingness made Josef Laszlo one the most admirable and memorable people in my life. Over a decade after his death, his influence is felt daily.
Now I will ask you, have you gone too far with your advice? Can you make a difference in one person's (or reptile's) life? Without people like you, these forums would not be what they are. Mind you I'm not judging the quality of your content, but the fact that you care enough to write about it.
since the man in charge of this forum has no problem with my posts, i will continue to post here as *my* conscious sees fit ... and this is *my* last word on this NON-ig topic ...
Bon.
