I'm with Iz's mom on this one, your bay ig thinks it lunch and wants to get away from you, or defend itself. What you want is an iguana that will trust you, not fear you. I let Ching Long (my biggest of the bunch, who is not tame) Roam about the room while I'm there, he is perfectly fine with me as long as i don't grab him or restrain him. This method of letting the iguana get used to you on it's own terms really works and already Ching is taking food from my hand! by the way, Ching Long is the Iguana I recently rescued (the one with the regenerated tail) and he's gaining weight and getting tamer.
