i would NOT use calcium gluconate as it is *too* much, even for something like MBD. You do not want to change the blood chemistry *too* quickly. With calcium glucaonate, your ig's blood work would need to be *very* closely monitored, like on a daily basis *at least* ... (+ in the USA, calcium gluconate is prescription only)
I use calcium carbonate for my ig. It is a good source of calcium and also absorbs excess phosphorus to balance out the Calcium:Phosphorus ration. Calcium carbonate is in "over-the-counter" antacid/stomach medicine. The dose is fairly small and is fairly easy to get the ig to eat too! (i'll have to get back to you later with dosing information, i'm at work and my notes are at home!)
Not sure about vitamin injections... My 1st thought though, would be to avoid the needles if possible just because of the stress involved to the animal (and human!) ... but i'll see if someone has more experience with that part of your question....
what i give iZ, is children's multi-vitamins *without* the added minerals. They come in fruit flavors and i hide them in his food along with the "TUMS" and he takes it great!
(your English is great!!!)
Bon. + iZ
