MBD.....Been there and beat it!!!!!!

My iguana has just fully recovered from a sever bout with MBD. She went to the vet and got intrvenous liquids. If there is no vet close by I would suggest the electrolytes (it is a yellow powder) USe an eye dropper to force the liquids. You can also buy the Iguana Diet (it looks like cat food) I don't use it every day but it is the best when you need to hand feed. My iguana got real sick but we force fed her liquids and the iguana food and she finally is healed. Remember it takes time!!! It took her 5 months to get back to normal. You must be persistant to be successfull. I would highly recommend going to the vet though. She also was on some medication for a week. Where are you located? Maybe there is some reptile vet that isn't that far away. Hope this helps.
