Sharing time....

Today was so cool, I just had to share! (hope you don't mind IG27!)

We found some fellow Ig enthusiasts on this forum. IG27 and yes, the cage is awesom, and his wife and two girls live only half an hour from us so my family and I went for a meeting, Baby included.

I have never seen such a beautiful Ig (although my Ig experience is limited). Their "Ziggi" is gorgeous! He is a deep emerald green color (as opposed to our Baby's green with orange stripes) and twice, if not more, the size of ours and they are the same age!

After seeing their setup I realized that mine is probably not getting the right amount of UVB so I am working to remedy that right away. I still have so much to learn!!! Anyway, it was so cute when the two "kids" met each other. Baby leaned over and licked Ziggy twice. Then we put them on the floor and Baby head-butted Ziggy's side twice. Ziggy was pretty nonchalant about it. After that Baby's curiosity seemed spent and he began to wander a little. Then ziggy would follow him and they went round in circles a few times. It was so cute.

I am thrilled to have found someone close by and especially some new friends. Who knows...we may have to caravan up to the next Virginia Picnic....that's if you'll have us...Sue and Harry's dad...Heh Heh

Well, I'll close. Hope I haven't bored some of you. I hear the drill going in the back ground as hubby works on Baby's new condo. I'm going to go check it out. If I ever get a digital camera, I'll try to post a pic. Take care. J PS I'm so glad they kept the site up. I'd be lost without it!!! I'm totally addicted! (o;
