: : : I have had a little green iguanna for about a year. Recently he has taken to biting. Not often (three times so far).
: : : I don't know what to do to break him of this problem. I am to afraid to have anyone else feed him because I don't know if he will bite them.
: : : If I can not break him of this, I will have to get rid of him. If I am causing him to bite, I will alter my actions and inform others to do the same.
: : : Any info will be welcome. Thanks
: : : I do not know how your set up is arranged but you can get a pair of long nose pliers or tongs and use them to put his dish in his cage or feeding area so who ever feeds for you does not have to worry about getting close enough for him to bite. Just in case he is still biting when you want to leave on your trip.
: : : hey chief! he is a reptile and they bite. if you are afriad of being bit then reptiles are not for you. Just so you know they are not social animals and most never tame down to much. so if you are not seriously into him get rid of him now. also rember they are teritorial and you are putting your hand in his home. so that can be his reason for aggression. you need to research your pet better. dont buy things with out reading about them. it realy seems like you know nothing about your pet, so do some reading.
hey Samatha also your little green well get four and a half foot as a min. size. he does not stay small for long. if need info about him email me please
