Hi everyone. I've been herping for over 12 years and have always kept in close contact with iguana keepers and have read plenty about them. Now I have two desert iguanas in my zoology class (high school). In a nutshell, from what I have read, the key is high heat (basking spots up to 100-120 F), keeping things very dry and a vegetarian diet. Water will be provided through the food, occasional mistings and a shallow water dish provided a couple times a week. Does anyone have any more personal tips to share? All responses appreciated.
