I'm sorry to hear that your iguana's condition has
worsened. If you haven't done so already, you need
to get your iguana back to the vet for further
examination. Time is of the essence.

I would recommend:

* Another blood test to check the standard kidney-
related levels and look for infection. Antibiotics
and anti-inflamatory drugs may be in order.

* An x-ray to look for obstructions, possibly
even a barium x-ray to look for obstructions not
caused by foreign matter.

* You might even want to consider exploratory
surgery, if your ig is strong enough.

I'm sorry to be such an alarmist, but I recently
lost my iguana to a fluky case of intususception --
an intestinal problem common to mammals but almost
unheard of in lizards. His symptoms are similar
to the one's you describe. Of course, it's most
likely not intususception, but it could be some
other type of obstruction and/or infection. Or
it could be complete renal failure.

Bottom line, get your iguana back to the vet
without delay.

Best of luck to you and your iguana!
My thoughts are with you!
