**there are a couple of ways you can watch for dehydration at home. Look for overly bloodshot eyes and sagging eyelids, and/or overly pale gums inside his mouth. Also, an iguanas' skin may remain "tented" when pinched.**
My ig had the overly bloodshot eyes and pale mouth and I didn't know it was because of dehydration. I knew he was ill at the time, but didn't know that specifically those symptoms mean dehydration, I now know for the future, thank you.
