New Baby Ig

Well after waiting two months, we finally went out and brought home a baby ig. He is so beautifully, emerald green with some blue on him. He is only 3 1/2" from snout to base of tail, but 13" in total length. What a long wonderful tail. Are family got him yesterday evening. He has already ran around the room like a crazy lizard, I assume that is because he thought we were going to eat him. He has enjoyed his basking limb and played in his water bowl then drug water everywhere. The best thing was that he already has started eating. It was mainly fruit, but we were trying to entice him into to eating anything. Tonight we will be spending time making up MK's salad to give him more of a well-balanced diet. Anyway, I'am a happy Grandma and my kids are thrilled that they finally have the pet that they have wanted for so long. He's such a little sweetheart.

Just wanted to share that with everyone. I hope to get some pictures and get them posted. By the way I do have a question - His belly is nice and plump, but his front and back legs are kind of skinny, is this normal for little baby igs?
