Catchin' the caboose of this train LOL I've been reading everyone else's bios and thought I'd stick mine in here.
I'm married with a 13 y/o son, an 8 y/o son and an 8 y/o daughter (twins). We started keeping reptiles about 6 years ago when my eldest brought an anole inside & begged to keep it. Talk about a snowball effect!
Reps/amphs. we have kept in the past who have moved on to their reward: amieva, crevice spiny lizard, collared lizards, fence swift, helmeted iguana, redheaded agama, fire-belly toads, white's tree frogs, green tree frogs, and a ball python. Anoles & house geckos have "visited" then gone back outside to their families as have toads.
Currently part of our family are 1:1 green iguanas (Thunder & Lightning), 1:1 fat tail geckos (Echo & Howie), 1 tokay (Freckles), and 1 bearded dragon (Goliath). We've had the igs the longest with Lightning being 4 y/o and Thunder 3 y/o. We've had Goliath almost 2 yrs & the gex about 7 months.
Got a home comp a yr ago 10/20 & this old dog taught herself some new tricks LOL My greatest thrill on it came when I found that I could actually teach my husband how to do some things on it. He writes comp. programs & works on a comp. all day but has never had a chance to see the fun things you can do or the things you can learn.
The boards have been a real find! There always seems to be something new to learn about our reptiles. Guess that's it on me. Keep on herping!
